Not so different from the CVS it replaces (having moved to a larger location across the street) and it will compete with.

I lived in downtown Berkeley a year ago and would love to move back to the area.

Target Express just ain't the same......I went to one across from the Beverly Center in L.A. a few weeks ago. I'm glad, though, that there's one in Emeryville. I love that place.

Man, Target is really, really cheap. I mean price-wise. I mean they make Walgreens and CVS look expensive.

I think Target City is larger. There's certainly some distinction as fidi is getting an Express and not a Target City like Metreon.

It's probably the Emeryville/Oakland border Target, which opened a few years ago, that got Berkeley pissed.

The Albany Target is hard to get to with public transportation.

The Emeryville Target is just a free AC Transit ride down Telegraph to the McArthur BART station and a free Emery Go Round shuttle away from campus. (I've seen many students aboard those shuttles, also carrying IKEA stuff.)

Both Albany and Eneryville Targets are always packed when I go. Thankfully there is one in Alameda now.
