Any of you guys watching this? These are the same commentators that 3 weeks ago didn't include Goff in the list of top P12 quarterbacks and praised Hogan. Now calling Goff the best passer in the nation. Obviously we've become the IT team right now for the media.

Anyone recall another game between two non ranked teams with this much coverage?

Goff is very good. This is a big game for him and the program. Texas is down and the Bears should win. Not as important a game as next week IMO, but an important one nonetheless. Conference games matter more but this game could bring real credibility to the program. This is the type of game you need to win if you are a building program.

Don't think it's about us. The early money was against the horns, the new money is for the horns. We have a lot to do to be relevant in most people's minds. A convincing win today sure would help!

Texas needs this game far more than we do. If they lose today, they are likely 1-6 before they get to their next winnable game, Iowa State. With a new athletic director coming in, Charlie Strong is done if they finish with 3-4 wins.

Yeah, they were at a Bama game 2 weeks ago. But Gameday was at an outdoor shopping mall (Ft. Worth's verion of The Grove). So it's great to see them on an acdtual campus.

Well, that first week it was in Texas for the Wisky vs Bama game probably because it was the only decent game to start the season...it wasn't in Bama at least.
