I know this has been discussed many times, but this documentary was on tonight on PBS. I graduated in 1976.
it is on again at midnight tonight. It is one of the most inspirational films I have ever seen. The people whose lives he touched is remarkable. His courage and humility amazing. And his talent was special. I recommend to anyone who has not seen this to DVR it - it will make you cry and also give you hope for humanity at the same time.
There is some very good football footage, and some interviews by surprising people, including Gary Jeter of USC, and other foes of his.
Whether you are a CAL fan or not, again I highly recommend it!
