I want to create this post so that we can aggregate on the players including links to tweets and articles of former Cal players who support Tosh and want to have him back. Some of the critique against him may have been warranted but many are unwarranted. He is a former Cal player and coach and I know deep down he bleeds blue and gold. Please reply below with quotes and links.

Add Austin Clark, Trevor Guyton, Eddie young, Brian holly, owusu and Jacob wark.

Owusu and Guyton have both said good things about tosh on twitter, but hard to find them after a few years. Cam Jordan did the same when he was first drafted.

I'm guessing it's not clearly one or the other. It's probably okay to love both... see them both as human beings with strengths and weaknesses, admirable aspects as well as flaws.

Carter also supported Holmoe getting an extension. Players all loved that coach, too.

If your point is Tosh might not be a very good coach, that's certainly possible. But if your point is he has done unethical, evil things that betrayed and hurt the program... you don't think it's odd the people closest to the situation seem to feel differently?

The JT/Tosh dynamic is interesting. At the time of Toshgate, JT was still well liked and respected by the Cal fan base and Tosh was viewed as evil incarnate.

Is striking that many Cal football stakeholders are now extremely supportive of Tosh returning to Cal. They have much more informed opinions and insight into the situation than the average BI poster.

Get that Cal and FSU aren't equivalent programs, but Wilcox has a chance to put together a much better staff than both JT's current staff and Sonny's final Cal staff and that's even without Tosh and Spav.

A DLS baseball/football player classmate of my son shared an apartment with Tosh when he was at Cal. He said Tosh did not like Tedford. Sort of Boston Marketish so make of it what you will
