Shouldn't we have the South Bay as well? SC got it when they beat furd, then WSU got it, now we should have it. Right? Anyway, it's nice to have the East Bay back. Haha.

Update: I just noticed that furd only originally had San Mateo and Alameda (?!?!?!?) counties, so we did get them after beating WSU. Kind of sad that we didn't get our home county until this week.

That land (Santa Clara County) originally belonged to SJSU - it's based on closest FBS team to every county. Santa Clara County was taken by South Florida in week 1 and they haven't lost since.

It's still kind of ridiculous that Alameda County was originally given to furd being that Cal is IN Alameda County. They obviously do not deserve any territory to begin with. Haha.

Agree that is weird. They apparently decide it based on on which school is closer to the geographical center of each county, and I guess Stanford is closer to the center of Alameda County. They should override that though if only one of the schools is actually in the county.
