How long do you want to ignore this user?
Surprised I haven't seen anything on this, but over the past couple of days when I access BI from my iphone I am getting another one of those redirects to some advertising site that prevents you from getting back to BI. It doesn't happen on my desktop PC.

Anybody else?

Me too. I installed an ad blocker and it stopped.

Has happened to me. Takes me to a flashy Facebook page, complete with congratulations. Was it a bad idea to send these guys all of my bitcoin?

Had that happen on my phone as well. Please eliminate the advertisment/redirect to the scam sites.

If it's happening to you, that means that you haven't installed the security and ad blocking software on your phone that would prevent this.

Yes, the BI admin can work on this from the server end, but that won't stop the next malware attack that takes advantage of your phone's vulnerability.

Actually, the real issue for you is that your phone is vulnerable to malware attacks anywhere you go on the web. Don't be fooled if BI "is the only place this happens." All that means is the malware here is unsophisticated - "good" malware doesn't let you know you've been infected, and gets your information and/or utilizes your phone's resources without you knowing.

It's not hard to protect yourself. Just go to the iPhone or Google (Android) store and search for the highest rated security, vpn, & ad blocking apps.

I'm an Android user, and use Lookout, Norton VPN, and ad blocking apps (all three). None of these slow down the phone. Even so, I always utilize an "incognito" browser when I'm not sure about a given site.

All this may sound like a lot of work for you. These days it just needs to be like using seat belts - something you do that has become second nature to keep you safe. The programs I've noted aren't "guarantees" but there are enough unprotected phones & laptops out there that the bad guys generally don't find a protected device worth hassling over.

Hope this helps.

As someone with experience in this industry, it's extremely difficult to eliminate malicious mobile ads from showing up and it's not BI's fault. You'll notice it on many sites, and you can blame the hyper-fragmented ad tech industry. They can try to investigate by manually tracking and logging ad calls to try to trace back the source DSP and potentially the actual advertiser or limit ad revenue significantly by temporarily eliminating large exchanges from buying inventory but these are imperfect solutions. Can also ask the major exchanges they work with to block lowest quality or troublesome DSPs from buying their inventory, but this is a shot in the dark.
