Not substantiated at all, but apparently we might be a good target for Wimbush from Notre Dame, with interest specifically towards our accounting program. Total shot in the dark but intriguing, or just random Internet chatter.

Given a choice, I would take Wimbush in a heartbeat over Modster...

The prior year he had 1870 yards passing, 16 TDS, 6 interceptions, 800 yards rushing and 14 rushing td's. Not great passing stats, definitely a running qb. Ian Book who replaced him is pretty damn good.

I watch a lot of ND because I went to law school there. I don't want Wimbush. He can't throw down field. Yes he makes a couple of great runs a game but he plays behind All Americans. ND would be 8-4 if he started all years.
