For those who, like me, are out of town and want to hear the radio broadcast, I just want you to know that IHeart Radio actually carries the entire pre-game, play by play, and postgame broadcasts. I have had an AWFUL time with TuneIn over the last few years. With TunieIN broadcast volumes fluctuate, sometimes broadcasts just terminate before they're supposed to, and they have not presented full pre-game and post-game shows. With Heart I got it all, with balanced volumes and a reliable feed. I'm very thankful to have found the option, and hope this helps someone else as well.

Yeahbut, it's still Joe Starkey, right...?

Yes, along with Mike Pawlawski. Precisely why I want to listen.

Paws is good stuff, particularly because he has way more background on Cal and their opponents than the whoever is doing the game for TV.

I normally listen to Bears radio feed when watching but this year I didn't give it any thought. Off hand, I didn't notice the radio option come up on any of the usual blogs prior to Sunday's game. I jettisoned the TuneIn feature last year listened via some other vehicle, maybe a direct radio on line feed from the source? Forget.

So....was Starkey and Paws operating for this game?
Ever hopeful and it seems like forever.

Mike is a very good analyst and broke down Chase Garbers' improvement over the course of 2019 very well on his Elite Athletes TV site on YouTube.

Here is a little history from Joe Starkey on how he started his "Oh, what a bonanza!" signature line.
