I would be surprised if this results in more than a handful of additional games.
And the results are probably going to be infected, not by a pandemic, but by last minute flights and preparation (see Cal v. UCLA). So why would we take them seriously?

I think it is more for someone like Oregon or USC being able to fill in games necessary to stay in contention for a playoff spot.
