Not a jerk post at all. The wheels have come off so fantastically as to beg the question. Speaking for myself, my whirring brain will slow down some as I wait to hear the scoop on this. No matter what it is, it can't absolve this coach of everything, but at least there's some explanation for this *****t.

I have inside info and saw this coming. He is not that old, but he is old school. It doesn't work in this day and age, especially at a school like Stanford (or Cal).

I don't think Haase recruits well, it's Stanfurd (and their marketing) that's recruiting well. I don't think it matters who the coach is, they've marketed their brand so well that any athletes who meet their academic bar are going to be interested in them.

Haase sells the brand well. And he knows his Xs and Os. It is his communication and leadership skills with his players that are lacking. His people skills. That interview with Dennis Gates? Think the opposite and you have Haase. He gets along better with Stanford alums than with his own players. His disciplining of players wears thin down the stretch.

The guys benched were Davis and Wills. Davis is a senior, but can grad transfer for a 5th due to COVID. I know a school in the area that could use a PG and has good grad programs. It would be karma for Scarlett and for Haase.
