Other than losing two scholarships I don't see any penalties that mean anything. Did I miss something?

I guess they dont take tv away anymore or prevent them from winning their conference or going to the ncaa tourney .i expect Arizona will get something similar. Vacating prior wins is so lame. Who cares.

Why were they put on probation?

Auburn Tigers men's basketball placed on 4 years' probation; coach Bruce Pearl suspended 2 games

Bearister, Thanks for the info.

As a repeat offender, Bruce Pearl should have been given a much longer suspension.
