I'm not going to put $$$ on a Cal-without-Kelly, so instead, I'm going to the game to root for the Bears! Pretty sure there'll be less COVID in Haas than there was vs, UCLA and I survived that one.

In the first game, UW's zone neutralized Kelly and he ended up with only 4 points on 2 of 7 shooting. Shepherd was the high scorer and Celestine and Alajiki were good off the bench. Lars too. Brown was out and UW got 14 steals and their Brown Jr scored 21. We lost by 9.

I like our chances with Brown on Brown, and a smaller lineup: Brown, Shepherd, Alajiki, Celestine and Grant (or maybe Lars instead). With Kelly out we avoid all the turnovers trying to pass into Kelly against the zone.

Huskies are 6-3 in conference and have won 5 of their past 6. Surprised we're favored by 2. Feels like a pick'em at best.

4thGenCal, hoping you can give us an update on Andre like you did Tuesday. Would be much appreciated.

Hopefully Foreman can go so he can help bust the zone

Ball can't stick, zone is vulnerable from the donut hole. Grant is key there

Zone also vulnerable in the baseline wings

And unlike what people think, you can drive on a zone if you're got the handles, quickness, and ability to pull up or shoot a floater

You can even screen the top defender of a zone, which I never seen is do

No Kelly impacts our offense even though UW neutralized him, and of course their is defensive and rebounding

To me, we win with Kelly and Foreman

Without Kelly I certainly don't see why we are a 2 point favorite

If we do have Kelly win or loss will fall on which coach game planned better and in game adjustments

We get maybe three shots from the foul line. If it works they stop doing it.
