Not sure if this will apply to Haas Pavillion. Sent City ofBerkeley an email.

It would be nice to not have to wear a mask inside Haas, but I suspect that they will keep the mask mandate in place for larger indoor events like that. (Though I guess we could debate how 'large' the gatherings at Haas this season are, LOL!)
I find my masks reasonably comfortable to wear for a couple hours at games, but I'm tired of dealing with my glasses fogging up!

No masks required in Haas per City of Berkeley. Cal can require, however. Expect an announcement from Cal soon. You may be able to see the buffalos without the Lone Ranger.

Thank you for your emails. As we just issued our community message yesterday about the upcoming change to our masking order, as you can imagine, changes take a bit of time. We have made some updates to language now on our website indicating that the Face Masking Order will end on February 16, 2022. Here is the link to our community message.

The State's Masking Order will apply still that requires those who are unvaccinated to wear a mask in indoor public settings and businesses. Those that are fully vaccinated may choose whether to wear masks in those indoor settings where merchants or organizations have not set stricter rules. For everyone, regardless of vaccination status, masks will still be required certain settings per the State as outlined on their page: State Masking Order website.

UC Berkeley may require masking should they choose to do implement stricter policies than the State requires. For the answer to your specific question on Haas Pavilion, we recommend reaching out directly to Cal.
Kind Regards,
The City of Berkeley
