5th consecutive year at the bottom of the conference with no needed vision to improve.

Just stay the course - don't change anything and maybe we just let the passionate fans from the 90's and early 2000's just die out and we can finally forget we had a program worth following.

I think the vast majority of fans will live through this low point.

But I'm not so sure about their TVs.

I only saw the Oregon game. Looks like we should win the conference

Sadly we won those 2 games on the road in Oregon thus ensuring we hit double digit wins. Which might get Mark Fox an extension. Our program is essentially at the level of University of Kansas Football - except that we don't have football at the state of Jawhawk BB. It frankly is really really sad.

Maybe next year if we suck we will get a change. I have given up hope that JK will pull the trigger this year.

A Theory: Jeff Van Gundy scouting the team during the recent homestand is because Fox has been given an ultimatum to make a splashy offseason hire to his staff. JVG, with his affinity for Cal, enough $ in the bank from TV and a desire to get back into coaching with his buddy Fox, is interested.

I doubt Knowlton gave any ultimatum.

Maybe Fox is being proactive? He is making something like $1.7 million a year and likely would prefer to stay on that gravy train. Moreover, he clearly does not like losing even if he cannot see what the problem is it or does not have any immediate solutions. Getting some input from a colleague and/or changing out the assistants is a time honored way for head coaches to buy more time.
