The Gaels extend a lot of helping hands to fallen opposing players. You do not see that in the PAC 12 much….and I think it is a major p@ussie move not to extend that courtesy.

Just watched the end of the first half and I'm sort of changing my mind: I wouldn't mind seeing St. Mary's win this one.

Love these first couple of true tournament days. Going classic Reuben tonight. Figure it's slightly more thrilling than a bunch of boiled cabbage and carrots to go with corned beef. At least sauerkraut is probiotic. Russian dressing will be used but renamed.

What about this Chris Jans character? His team just took out UConn. Made tourney 4 out of last 5 years at New Mexico freaking state. Know nothing about him, but that's quite the accomplishment.

70-39 St. Mary's, with less than 7 minutes left. Wow. Not an upset by any means, because it's a 5 seed beating a 12 seed (so expected). Still, wow.

Anyway, 82-53 St. Mary's, final. Didn't Indiana used to be Indiana? Pretty pathetic showing, although they can take some solace in having the cooler hairstyles. Maybe that was their focus, what with NIL and all.

I'm starting to get over my jealousy-fueled hatred of St. Mary's. It's not their fault that we suck, I guess.

And again at the foul line in OT, and then again on a last-minute jump shot. And then he turned the ball over in the last 3 seconds when SDSU had a chance to tie.

But it was much more than just Bradley. SDSU let Creighton score the last 9 points in regulation to force OT, and the last 6 points in OT to win. It was a team choke.

Yep. I feel for him. Bradley finally got a chance to play in the tournament. His team put the game in his hands in crunch time and he came up real small.
