Just guesses:

It's possible players were exposed to COVID-19 but have not developed symptoms or tested positive. In that case they could be available soon.

If they're testing positive they will have to isolate longer.

If they have serious symptoms they could be out for some time. In young, healthy people this is uncommon but not unknown.
