Speaking of beating Furd, today is the 3rd anniversary of Kobe's death. I actually was in Berkeley at the time, and found out as I was walking on Center Street towards campus. I went to the Furd game where Paris Austin had himself a day and we won. Then COVID happened a month later. Just feels like the last 3 years were not real.

In the blurb that the OP references, it says that Hopkins is also on the hot seat at UW. What do people think of that guy? He started off pretty well at UW, bringing that Syracuse zone defense which is pretty neat when its working, but his last . . . three years (?) have been disappointing.

You're right, we need to re-institute the "You (almost) lost to Cal?" clause in the conference that used to get coaches fired on the spot.
