Per 40 minutes: 3rd in scoring, 1st in assists, 1st in steals.

Most valuable player in the advanced stats.

He has only played 30 minutes so a small sample size, but given all the injuries at guard, and given that he has played better than anyone else when in, seems like a no brainer to give him a chance to play more.

Fox is stubborn . Only way we get to see what Wren can do is if Joel Brown gets injured which is entirely possible.February will be brutal.

With a conference record of 2-9 and an overall record of 3-19, the risk of Wrenn under performing if he plays more minutes is not worth taking when one considers the damage it could do to the Bears' season, the team and the program.

Agree he looks solid. He seems to have better basketball instincts than our other guards.

I'm no Fox fan, but injuries/ illness happen. The decisions about player availability aren't in Fox's domain. He does decide playing time. But availability when in question is decided for the most part by the medical staff. Unfortunately this year has been a bad one in terms of prolonged injuries. Kids get hurt.
