Consider this a rant- I had a similar one during football season regarding my football season tickets.

I purchased a mini-season ticket plan for three conference basketball games, the first of which will be on Friday against Notre Dame. As of today (Monday) I have not received electronic delivery of the tickets.

I callled the Cal ticket office three times today and each time I was graced with a message that there was no one available to assist me and I should leave a message. It was the same message I heard during the football season when I called to make an inquiry. On the third call I did leave a message.

The Cal Ticket Office needs to up its game if it expects fans to show up for games. There should always be someone to answer the phone during normal business hours.

Why does Cal wait until the last minute to send tickets purchased a month or two beforehand? Why aren't tickets sent the same day they are purchased?

They told me it is for the ever excessive security concerns. I never buy tickets unless they are immediate downloadable. Some on seat geek are.

Yeah, especially since all tickets are electronic now. Delivery should be instantaneous upon purchase.

Sounds like BS to me.

FWIW, I emailed them today re: tickets to the Louisville game and got a response.

I received the email to download my tickets today. So my guess is that you will get an email on Thursday morning for the game on Friday.

I get it isn't ideal.

I have a partial Sharks ticket package, and I can see all of my tickets in the Sharks' app, but I can't download them until 48 hours before each game. And I can transfer or post for resale as soon as I want.
I don't think there's any reason for fans to not be able to SEE their digital tickets online or on the app shortly after purchase, even if they won't allow us to download them until 2 days before.

jay larson is a revenue sports obstructionist with no real background in college athletics (previously worked in compliance for knowlton), he's just a $500,000 worthless bureaucrat collecting paychecks with no fanbase building/selling tixs or practice facility fundraising responsibilities

cal mbb is DEAD LAST in the acc in attendance, 18th outta 18th reflects the non consumer friendly crushing of the potential fanbase

when is rich gonna throw out the trash??

Why did Lyons promote these two? We are still paying Knowlton so we are now paying MORE for the incompetence he inherited. Doesn't seem like a guy with a PhD in economics from MIT.

Don't even expect anyone at the ticket office at game time as well …..well besides those in the kiosk who can't help with any foul ups. I had my own adventure there this year. Louisville tix were emailed on time no issues….

Well, when I exchange my tickets (which is essentially surrendering the old ticket and purchasing a new one) the new ticket is delivered pretty much immediately. Some of their systems are set up to work this way.

As the originator of this thread wanted to let you know I received an email today from the ticket office with a link that allowed me to download tickets for all three games.
