Cal head coach Mark Madsen confirmed in his postgame press conference that freshman guard Jovani Ruff will redshirt this season. He's been dealing with injuries and Madsen believes Ruff will be a breakout player for the Bears in 2026-27.

So what? It makes no sense to keep such basic information about a key player from all Cal fans, particularly season ticket holders, not just the privileged ones.

It's a pay for info site.
You don't want to pay? Knock yourself out on the free board.

You miss the point. That kind of information should be available to all fans.

100%
Injury reports should be public and transparent, as long as there is no competitive disadvantage. And if it's true that Rytis is done for the season, we shouldn't have to depend on a second-hand ambiguous Twitter report.
I won't even address the "you should pay for this information" BS, so sick of that response on this Forum.

He'll probably need to apply for an NCAA waiver since he's played in too many games already (30% seems like the cutoff) but if he doesn't attempt to return and play again this season, I think he will have a shot.
If you are over 30% and also come later in the year, that would likely be an easy denial.

Campbell played tonight and contributed.
Rytis was on crutches at the game (don't think he had been, previously). Maybe he had his surgery.

I much prefer Carr getting the minutes over Campbell.
Our best 7 are:
Ames
Dort
Pippen
Bell
Camden
Ilic
Carr
I'd rather see Madsen maximize their minutes.
