How is Jay Wright so far up there?

Does anyone know where the list of top public employees of the state of California is? Are the top four still all UCLA/Cal coaches?

Steve Fisher, Tad Boyle - underpaid.

Lon Kruger - way overpaid.

Wow a great coach Bob Thomason kept giving Pacific an alma mater discount.

Duke's coach K is one helluva basketball coach, but $7.2MM per year? Wow!

If you compare that salary to the amount of revenue Duke MBB produces, you can see why they pay Coach K that much. No wonder he hasn't bolted for the NBA yet.

All these salaries are ridiculous. Now if some of you say, "it's the market, stupid", then my response is: "yet another case where the market has ridiculous consequences". I love basketball, but come on!!

Harvey Mudd or Caltech, two schools which most people have never heard of, might be "Duke" if they only had a national championship basketball team.
