The Beavs were intentionally fouling Ty and Solo in their attempt to catch up in the last 6-8 minutes. Fortunately their poor FT shooting didn't cost us the game. But I am concerned that the end result will be worse in future games. Currently Bird and Kreklow are injured so they cannot be substituted out. But in future close games where we are trying to protect a lead, what would be our best lineup? Cobbs, Kreklow, Bird, Kravish and Matthews?

Powers didn't hit the rim on his two late fts. He looked pretty calm up there.

Unless they have the TO's or the opponent is shooting FT's you can't take Wallace or Solomon out because of their defense and rebounding. But yeah that would be the best lineup.

Powers is a terrific shooter, but I don't really want him handling the ball.

Powers has 2 TO in 73 minutes of play so far this season. Even if he is not the best dribbler on team..reflects he takes care of the ball when in his hands.

I am fine with Powers in at end of games when opposing team is fouling each possession.

Off topic on Powers: Did you see his imitation of Rickey Henderson trying to reel the ball in on sidelines before it went out of bounds? Great hustle play on his part...

That was less about shooting ability than it was controlling emotions. For a guy usually deep on the bench that was all the more impressive. What a stud!

By the way can someone explain the reference to night club hero? Did a night club incident occur? I dont visit the board for a fee days and i feel a little lost.
