doesn't matter. The year ewwwwbaaaakaaaa knocked UCLA out in the 1st round of the conferene tourney - the Bruins went on to the final four...

fucla had really nothing to play for (other than your basic respect and pride) as far as conference standings .... of course, it doesn't help their seeding for the NCAA tournament

Funny thing, this is exactly what many of the Zona fans were saying after their loss to the floaters ... nothing really important to play for (a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament is nothing I guess)

Also of note, the top three seeds in the Pac 12 Tournament all lost today .... Zona, fucla, and ASU as well as 4 of the top 5 (based on conference tournament standings). The only team in the top 5 to win today ... CAL !!!!!

Still unlikely they miss out on a 1 seed though, especially with Kansas also losing today. That seems pretty much locked in at this point.

I wouldn't take too much from a mostly meaningless game for the Bruins.

this is what I don't like about the Pac12 tournament. Teams already in have nothing to play for. They might prefer to rest and exit early.

Although this may be to our advantage this year. We need Ws, and hopefully our opponents don't.

Of course, if we Colorado they are not too different than us. Yes, they are in, but not comfortably in, so it's not a must win game like it is for us.

I don't however like playing the same team twice, although who ever we get, they will have played the day before so may be tired

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Arizona is still going to be a one seed. There's no shame in losing to a desperate Oregon team on their senior day. Everyone else will be lower, but there's still more basketball to be played. It's going to mostly depend on matchups.

I think several teams could do some damage, including ucla

If you look at the 12-Pack teams tied for fourth, .... the CU/CU re-match seems like a decent match-up.

I would rather play Oregon or Colorado than Stanford or ASU. Stanford was a terrible match-up for the Bears.

I agree. I think the conference will do well in the tourney.

than in the last several years. I could see several Pac teams surprising depending on match-ups. ASU for one, if they are hitting 3 pointers.
