I saw Kameron's name in the Texas game box score: 0 minutes and 1 steal.

Did he actually play? I didn't see him enter the game.

Is he healthy and starting to play again?

That would give us a bit of a lift, wouldn't it?

Gotta be a type error. Sometimes the person running the books at the game makes a mistake. I don't think (at all) we are going to see him play this year, certainly not this early. That's what has been reported. Believe it.

Kam was in street clothes (probably sweats) during both games. He was in NYC but never broke a sweat in anger!!!

He seemed to be walking well. My wife and I observed that.

Absolutely! I was sitting there at MSG dreaming of a lineup of Okoroh, Rooks, Rabb and Swanigan. Go Bears!

Two seven footers and two 6'-10" guys. Three Centers and one Power Forward.

Total weight: Well over 1,000 pounds.

We could have used those four last Saturday for the Big Game as OL or DL. Coming to think of it, with their quickness and height, they would make pretty good DEs!!

Go Bears!

He probably lit up Katz' Deli, however.

Yes, we were seated not too far from the Cal bench and Kam seemed to be moving around fine. Watching Texas push us around in the lane made me really wish we had him. Finally getting to meet NYCGOBEARS and his lovely wife took some of the sting out of what was a pretty rough night to be a Cal fan.

I will really look forward to seeing what 2 years of difference makes in his ability.
And what Kingsley looks like in another 12 months.

Great meeting you as well. Your illness the morning of Big Game turned out to be prescient. I hope you're feeling better. Go Bears!

That's good to hear. Kam needs to make normal progress on his rehab so he can return to the bear line-up next season.

I did take a photo of this as NYCB and I were walking to a bar postgame. I took it as a sign that next year we will win Big Game.

A steady regimen of Jewish Penicillin, Zycam and Theraflu mixed with Apple Schnapps got me through the illness. Unfortunately there is not enough Scotch in NYC to make me feel any better about the BG.

What is Jewish penicillin? I think I need some, or will soon.

Can't help myself here: My Berkeley Chicken Soup (True) Story: So, in the 60s, I went to visit a friend who just arrived back in Berkeley after a long and incredibly adventurous journey, and was staying at a place on (then) Grove Street. I walked in the house (the front door was open; and it was the 60s, and a genteel version of a "hippy crash pad") to be greeted with the overwhelming odor of chicken soup. I went into the kitchen whence I had heard people talking; and I said (to the group assembled there): "Who's sick?"; and one of them said: "Yvonne (pointing to one of the girls) has the flu"; and I said: "I knew, because I could smell the chicken soup"; and one or more immediately replied: "There's no chicken soup". And there wasn't.

Hopefully, Kam's rehab will enable him to return to a strength and conditioning regimen to resume his development.

So why doesn't anyone ever list the former Cal big man Camden Wall?

Cam was friend of mine at Cal. I played hoops with him a lot. He was slow like Rooks, but he could score and play defense. He averaged about 13 pts and 9 rebounds, and was Cal's team MVP in 1964. He sure could have helped the current team. You could put him at center, move David to PF and have no worries.

Wasn't there another big who played with Wall or followed...Schneider or Schneiderjohn?

I was Cam's Phi Tau Frat Big Brother and roommate in 1960. Does anyone know where he is, or how to reach him?

That is so cool. Someone mentions a guy who played at Cal 50 years ago and two guys on this board knew him well.

Steve Belser, at 7'-1" played with Cam Wall, and in 1964 won the award for Cal's most inspirational player.

Tom Schneiderjohn at 6'-11" played at Cal from 1976-79

Earle Schneider was a 6'-5" forward, and played at Cal in 1958.

I lost touch. Maybe try Los Gatos. Here is a link to his bio when he was inducted into the Los Gatos High hall of Fame: http://www.lghs.net/ourpages/halloffame/2005.jsp

Drafted by the Warriors in '64.

I know Camden Wall was from Los Gatos High School, and Belser was from Camden High School in San Jose (no longer exists).
