How does that impact his ability to declare for draft?

I saw his tweet about returning to the school grind after Spring Break. Was trying to read the tea leaves and then concluded it was probably pointless.

I suppose if he made the decision to declare and hire an agent, he may be more concerned about preparing for draft workouts and the like vs. school. And if he doesn't hire an agent but wants to test the waters, he'll want to keep his options open. Or maybe he's just a smart kid who doesn't want to come back from Spring Break but wants to finish the semester even if he will hire an agent.

Who knows? I'm sure he'll make a good decision either way.

Speculation on who leaves early or where a recruit will go is just that, speculation. Like always, we won't really know until the kid tells us. Not worth thinking or worrying about it till then. Being Cal, always plan for the worse and hope for the best.

Not clear on the grad rate impact of early entry. As long as athletes leave in good academic standing, school doesn't take a hit. Probably means that LSU takes a hit for Ben Simmons leaving after having less than a 2.0 first semester. If they decided to go pro now, presumably Jaylen or Rabb could withdraw from school with incompletes and Cal wouldn't take a hit.

Is it speculation on Ivan's plans that Cuonzo and Co do not appear close to landing a skilled PF to back-up, and/or succeed, Rabb should he move to the NBA?
