For those strong BI posters who don't follow football board, Cal Strong is strong bear who comes on to encourage other bears to stop being weak and start being strong . . . like Cal!

Cal Strong big basketball fan. He coaches youth basketball in Egypt and used to asst. coach an AAU team in America. He also coach youth league team in Michigan where he helped troubled kids to be strong in classroom and strong in respect for parents . . . like Cal!

Last December, Cal Strong travelled to Sydney to marry Wife Strong, a strong Cal alumna who happens to be Australian.

This winter, Tribe Strong return to Sydney (now with Baby Strong) to visit family and so that Cal Strong can do some strong business with Australians.

While they there, Tribe Strong go to see Jerome Randle and the Sydney Kings take on Melbourne United on December 23. Then Tribe Strong might also get to go again, to see them take on New Zealand Breakers on Breakers on January 11 (depending on our schedule).

Cal Strong excited to encourage Randle to keep being strong like Cal. It will be great to see fellow Bear in Australia. Any strong bears want to join us?

Cal Strong props to you. As much as I'd love to go Down Under and see NZ as well, and as much as I'd love to see JR on the court (so enjoyed him while he played in Haas), I don't know that I could spend a whole vacation talking in Cal Strong speak....... my head would explode.... Good on you to offer this and see Jerome. You are a true Blue Golden Bear!!

Visited Cairns, Sydney and Melbourne in 1992. Also toured both of the NZ islands. Australia was great, but the south island of NZ was fantastic, particularly Christchurch, Te Anau, and Queenstown. Cal Strong never been to New Zealand . . . so he very jealous of Petalumabear and sonofabear51. But Cal Strong has been to Australia three times for a combined grand total of about two months. He spend another month and a half there this time, but probably no have chance to visit NZ this time either. The basketball game against NZ is being played in Sydney.

Cal Strong no complain. Wife Strong have nice beach house on Australia's Central Coast, and Wife Strong's parents have nice properties in Petersham and Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. So Cal Strong get lots of strong opportunities to visit strong places in that part of world. But he still would like to visit NZ sometime. It a bit harder now with Baby Strong in the picture.

Cal Strong and Wife Strong got married in Sydney last December. Then we honeymooned in New Caledonia and Vanuatu. Cal Strong really enjoyed those strong experiences, but he preferred New Caledonia and Australia to Vanuatu. If he could do it again, and if money no object, then Cal Strong probably would swap New Zealand for Vanuatu.

Back to original point, Cal Strong very excited to see Jerome Randle play in Australia. Cal Strong believe JR reigning MVP of Australian league. And his team just picked up Andrew Bogut. So it should be good year for Sydney Kings.

It's quite different from Australia - different geology, climate, native people, and culture. I've had 6 trips to New Zealand, in total about 4 months. I've spent most of my time there on the North Island, especially Wellington, Whanganui, Taupo, Auckland, and the Hibiscus Coast. But I had a great time on the South Island walking on the Fox Glacier, and buying jade carvings in Hokitika and wood carvings in Nelson.

Cal Strong 90% vegan. He used to be 100% vegan, but this too hard in Egypt when strong bears can't get strong fresh fruits and vegetables all the time. But Cal Strong still try to do his best. Tribe Strong's favorite treat is smoothies made with almond milk. Cal Strong either smuggle Trader Joes almond milk into Egypt when he return from work trips to USA, or he make his own. Unfortunately, most of the almonds in Egypt come from Iran. Cal Strong miss California almonds.

Cal Strong want 10 children. But Wife Strong only want 2-3. We see who wins this matchup of strong vs. strong.
