UNR routed SSU last night by 42 points. Jordan Brown got 21 minutes of playing time. 7 RBs, 8 pts and 2 assists. He is coming along. Next year could be his year

This made me think of Caltagjohnson, who I know is a big Reno guy (I have no animosity toward Reno).

That's a great commercial.

Now then, someone said that Nevada lost to SDSU in their conference tourney, made me think about our one time savior, Jordan Brown.

He averaged 10 min., 3.1 pits, and 2 rebounds. Played in all but 1 game.

Before we talk about Brown, maybe we should take a commercial break.

damn remember the wofford game last season when that Magee kid lit us up from 3. The way every one of his crazy shots went down I just assumed he was having one of those lucky shooting nights.

Guess not. He was unbelievable tonight. Just taking Steph curry like threes.

I have no idea whether his game would translate at all in the nba, but wow, one of the better college shooters I've seen.

Fletcher Magee is phenomenal. His quick release and stroke on his jumper is really impressive. Career 44% three point shooter and plenty of volume. Not bad. I had been to a couple Wofford games before our own game (I live near there and have a close business colleague who is an alum and season ticket holder) and he's lit it up every single time. As for the NBA, I've heard some talk about him being drafted in the second round possibly. He's not all that quick or big, but he may be the best shooter in the draft and could have a JJ Redick-like career.

Jordan was not ready to make the starting lineup. He was not a one and done player. Musselman brought him along gradually, increasing his minutes. He will stsrt next year. He is not a two and done player either. Musselman will help him realize his potential. Jordan"s father made the right choice sending him to UNR. He needed to play for Musselman, not jones. He needed to practice with the UNR players, not Cal players.

Who do you think will be Nevada's coach next year? If you think it's Musselman, I have a wager for you.

Thus, he needed to play for UNR, not Cal. Very deep.
