In my kind of sick opinion, it's a shame that this news broke when he was probably in transit to the tournament. In any case, he will have a much needed restful summer.

Please, please no and NO!

There is no celebrating in someone's failure. I want Cal to win and excell, but, I wish the best for all humanity.

I wish Coach Wyking Jones the very best whatever is the next in his life and career.

Go Bears!

CB80, despite our differences I'm glad to see that you are in control of your senses. Enjoy the games today!

Coach Wyking Jones is a good person by all accounts.

It is very unfortunate that the previous AD put him in a position that he was not ready for at all. That was unfair to Cal and unfair to Coach Jones.

Coach Jones in a few years may be ready to be a Head Coach at a mid-major school and if he is successful, he maybe ready to be Head Coach at the Pac-12 level. But, without any prior head coaching or even top assistant coaching experience, it was not fair to Cal or to him to put him in a position that he was not ready for.

Again, my heart goes out to Coach Jones and his family and let us all wish them well.

Go Bears!
