Um, what? Did you actually read the story? Literally nothing in this message is correct. Coach K didn't say OAD should be left in tact. He didn't say the NBA isn't ready to replace it. And he didn't criticize OAD before doing it himself. He absolutely supports getting rid of it. And the concern he raised is that while the NBA is actively preparing itself for the change in eligibility rules, the NCAA hasn't made any progress to do the same with respect to the logistical and process-oriented issues required.

Coach K will probably keep going until he's 95.

they seem to be universally hated. At then end of the Michigan State game the entire bar I was in (in a Mexican resort) clapped and cheered out loud. Even hated south of the border.

It's hilarious that the reason Duke couldn't get the ball back once Michigan State had it with a couple seconds left was that they had been called for so few fouls that they literally could not put the Spartans on the line.

Michigan State, an established basketball power who shot fewer 3s than Duke, had only 6 free throw attempts all game (to Duke's 13).
