A Cal fan just called me up, and said he heard of a deal where you pay $100 and get a ticket e-mailed to you for all 18 home games. Tickets are apparently transferable, for games you don't want to go to. Anyone know about this?

Depending on how the mobile ticket is delivered, it may still be possible to take a screenshot of it and just text it to someone.

Thanks. My friend said that the ticket office told him the tickets would be delivered to him by e-mail 48 hours in advance of the game. I'm assuming he could forward the e-mail to me, for example, if he wanted to offer me his ticket.

All you need to do is get through the door. After that you sit where you want 95% of the games. I was thinking of getting one to go with my season tickets for the odd game when I can entice someone to join our usual party.

I had one of those passes for football a couple years ago and my memory is that you could render what they sent as a pdf and text the pdf to someone else to use.

I did it for a year, same experience. screen shot will work to send to someone else. Sometimes they were fairly late in distributing the seats though, like just a few hours before tip off.
