I believe NET rankings are updated daily. As was mentioned at the Chalk Talk last night, these are most helpful at the end of the regular season and Conference tournaments when the NCAA is deciding who is in the March Madness, and what the seed will be. By beating Alabama, Cal is now #23. Interestingly, Alabama only dropped 2 slots, from #17 to #19. Michigan State, Cal's only loss, is still #5. Cal's next two opponents are Pacific, #233, and Stanford, #34. There are 362 teams in total.

The Associated Press rankings come out on Mondays. Alabama is #19 in that poll, which includes games through last Sunday.

The USA Today/Coaches Poll comes out on Tuesdays, with games through Monday. Alabama was also #19 in that poll.
