The NET system was a noble effort to include a whole range of potentially significant variables regarding results. But the fact that it has three teams that we have defeated ranked ahead of us shows that it does need to be scrapped.

Cal has three ACC opponents in the four spots ahead of us. Bears travel to Duke next Thursday and later face UNC & Ga Tech in Berkeley. GO BEARS!

Too much emphasis must be being placed on the margin of victory. Take yesterday's game, anybody who watched the 12 point victory knows the game really wasn't as close at that.
