We are currently 3-2 (wins vs. NC State, FSU and Bama losses to Duke and MSU) against top 25 teams with three more top 25 teams to play in the regular season (NC, G Tech, Notre Dame). The loss to Clemson is looking bad but the rest of our resume is outstanding.

I understand that rankings are based on factors like NET and Quadrant W/L records, but it's still rather odd when I look at the rankings and see:

North Carolina(4 losses) at #15, ahead of Florida State(4 losses) #25, when Florida State just beat UNC AT UNC.

NCState (16-4) at #17, ahead of Cal (18-3) #19, when we beat them by 7.

I simply do not understand some of these ranking systems. NET is trash.

Massey? Georgia Tech has a 51 percent chance of beating us at home.... and only a 31 percent chance of beating Stanford that same week.

Make it make any sense.
