We beat WSU by 22 four days ago and Anigwe had an amazing 32 points and 30 rebounds. It was a great game and a great conference road win.

But, if you look more carefully, we were also substantially helped by Cal outrebounding WSU 50 to 22 (yes, Anigwe single handedly outrebounded WSU 30 to 22) and hitting 9 three pointer (35%) which does not happen every game (even against weaker teams).

Today, we play the same WSU in the Pac-12 Tournament opener in Las Vegas. If we beat WSU, we will have an epic match-up tomorrow against our rival LSJU.

I hope our Bears are not overconfident tonight and do not overlook WSU. WSU is a pretty decent team (#10 seed to our #7 seed) and is hungry and angry. Conference tournaments are ripe with upsets and WSU is looking for revenge for their embarrassing loss to Cal on their Senior Day in Pullman.

So, Bears, please don't overlook WSU in tonight's game and give us something to cheer about for the next few days.

Go Bears!

P.S. Bear Faithful, the game is on Pac-12 Network at 6 PM, so enjoy watching Anigwe all you can because she is truly once in a decade talent.
