i think things are changing for the WNBA and women's Pro Soccer

I don't think they will ever get to men's sports in terms of attendance, TV and overall popularity, but it's going to be nothing but up for those two sports. Sponsors will wake up and realize the value of getting their brand behind these role models. Nike and some others are figuring this out.

Coincidentally, I was just skimming this on-line, then asking a neighbor to save us the print edition. I'm not sure why it focuses on the Dream (apart from the business-model interest); I would have written about the Aces. Looks likes a decent piece. The on-line comments tend to be pretty dumb, as usual: "I don't like WBB because it's not fast enough and they don't dunk, and so it's bad."
