obviously conference's many states are california (go bears) oregon washington colorado and utah. Cal hasn't been shy looking elsewhere, int'l as swell.

Charmin stated early in the season the offense wasn't built around one player shooting the ball. She said they were working on offenses the other teams had not seen before. Seeing all the times different players missed opportunities to score from a layup or shot under or close to the basket, this maybe the case. During the Arizona game it seemed players like CJ. and Styles didn't have the muscle to score. There were so many easy shots missed in the first half, yet Cal had a considerable lead at times during the first half. However, the Bears kept up the pace and their tenacity in the second half. Arizona has great shooters, and I thought there was a chance for a blowout in the second half. Arizona would lead by 5 point, but Cal would score, keeping the game close. Cal caught a break with excellent playing the last 17 seconds. Congratulations to Jaelyn, Jazlyn and ELS!!! Yes, the Pac-12 is recruiting players nationwide. A top highschool guard from Georgia made a visit to Cal in 2019. She is playing for North Carolina State. Cal has signed ranked Student/Athletes for the 2020/2021 season. I trust this trend and success will continue.

Next season, we'll add a player from Texas, two from Washington and another international player (Greece). Two Canadians (Toronto) are being recruited for 2021.

Quite a change from when we were able to pick up the Hampton and Gray-Lawson class from essentially our backyard. And then we landed Greene and Cowling from the same local high school.

California still produces more good players than anywhere else. It just varies from year to year. The year Sabrina was the top player here, McDonald was the second best player. And don't forget Minyon Moore . All three are playing in the Pac 12. The nations number one player was in the Bay Area last year at Mitty and went to Stanford. The nations number player this year is from california and is going to Oregon.

Down year this year in Northern Cal. But will be better next year. And probably the year after.

Not one center on the all conference team. Style of play is changing.
