Gosh. Forgive me for my "horrendous" blunder. Lol. My point was our depth at guard as a reason this recruit is going elsewhere.

I count 7 guards on the 2021-22 team: 3 juniors, 2 sophs, and 2 freshies (so far).

USC currently has eight guards on their roster, none of whom are seniors. But I am sure that Gayles expects to be better than any of them. She certainly didn't pick USC to play in front of large crowds. Average attendance last year was 1051.

Average attendance this season will be zero. For us as well. I hope we find some way to attract fans for the 2021-22 season.

It must be the lure of So. California.........

Strange thing about Mark Trakh's recent recruiting success is that he is 2-7 in career NCAA Tournament games and 0-3 in WNIT games. And now he is 65 years old. USC must be selling itself, or is mentioning that some future successor has been identified.
