Anyone going to the Cal MBB/WBB/WGym event tonight? Wish I was. Excited to see Madsen and what he is bringing to Berkeley. But even more curious about the inclusion of Cal WGym at the event? Are they gonna do a floor exhibition?
There were record crowds at the gymnastics meets last year. Is Cal Athletics making a concerted effort to sell out Haas for gymnastics? A huge piece is getting more students into it. Maybe this is why this program is included tonight. These ladies are dynamic, they just need a bigger audience.
And from College Gym News, here is their take on the potential Cal line ups. They are just losing Naveah who was an all arounder and a lead off a couple of the events. I can think Andi Li might step up and take over Naveah spots. Andi gets higher scores than Nevaeh and just as steady.
