Competing in their first ever ACC Swim Championships the California Golden Bear Men's team finished #1 while the Women's team finished #4. Great first year in the ACC and now the Bears prep for the NCAA Championships.

The mens team is extremely deep and they dominated several events. They finished day 5 by beating out NC State in the Men's 400 Free Style Relay in a meet record 2:44.81. Great way to end the meet.

Men's Results
1. California - 1,271.5
2. Stanfurd - 1,065
3. NC St. - 1,021
4. NC - 832

Women's Results
1. Virginia - 1,361.5
2. Stanfurd - 1,141
3. Louisville - 865.5
4. California - 801

On to the NCAA Championships. Go Bears!

Cal really pulled away today and captured their 1st ACC men's title by more than 200 points over Stanford. Former Pac 12 schools go 1 & 2 to make a statement! Stanford women grabbed second and Cal fourth. I believe that the female Bears will back in the running again next season.

UVA ran away with the women's crown by almost 300 points. GO BEARS!
