Give us them in three categories:

- Fast food/very casual

- Every day eating

- Fine dining

I'll go:

Fast Food: Top Dog. Still love them. Blondie's and Fat Slice didn't wear well 10+ years post graduation, but a Kiel and a Polish have.

Casual: I have to name a few: Gather - My favorite pre BB game haunt. Wonderful burger, I love the atmosphere and the salads are always fresh; Wood Tavern - Comfort food at its finest; Corso - Staple Italian Food and another great BB game dinner spot

Fine Dining: Iyasare - One of the Bay Area's best Japanese spots; Commis - (Oakland); superb for a truly big night out;

Did you hear the story about the Dalai Lama visiting Top Dog?

When asked for his hot dog order he said make me one with everything.

My favorite cheap eats remains Steve's BBQ I'm Durant food court. Haven't been to any nice places in Berkeley in a long time because there are so many great places in Oakland.
