Biden is facing pressure to drop out. Trump isn't joining in.

" Speaking at a rally in Virginia on Friday, Trump said his complaints about Biden have nothing to do with his age, that the president overprepared for the faceoff, and that at the end of the day Biden was likely the toughest competitor he would get.

"He studied so hard that he didn't know what the hell he was doing," Trump, 78, said of his 81-year-old rival, adding: "It's not his age, it's his competence."

Trump added that he doesn't believe Democrats would ditch Biden "because he does better in polls than any of the Democrats they talk about," pointing to California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Vice President Kamala Harris and "some of the others."

"It's hard to believe, but Crooked Joe Biden polls better than those people," he said."

*By the time tRump and his brain trust handlers had figured out they had gone too far convincing the entire country that Biden was senile, it was too late for them to reverse course to save the candidacy of their weakest possible opponent and now they have F@UCKED themselves …at least until tRump's SCOTUS reverses the results of the election and serves it up to their patron.

*tRump needed to hold off on the full court press Biden has dementia strategy until after the DNC when there would be no turning back for Biden.

Sifting through the ashes of the Biden cognitive decline.

My own parents (4) are kind of similar - once on top of their kingdoms, but slowly losing grip, if not already deceased. It's something we all must face, in our families, or for ourselves.

Human civilization has changed greatly, but the human condition is the same as it ever was with the Greeks, as with Shakespeare.

People on the right have tried to make it a story of grand conspiracy. Instead, it's far more simplistic:
* Hubris on the part of Biden.
* Loyalty on the part of most everyone around him.

Those two things prohibited a proper primary selection process, and a proper crescendo march to November.
