...and we didn't cringe each day with the new lie or stupid thing our President said and the slow slide to corrupt authoritarianism. For four years, I haven't lived in a state of fear and embarrassment, except when MAGA/Trump grab the bullhorn and pump their crap into the media sphere and refuse to go away.
The presidency should be a much quieter administrative job of public service that only occasionally arises to our daily consciousness as we go about the business of our lives rather than assault of propaganda and ego we have suffered ever since Trump took the national stage.

Your Vance is the one who said after the last GA school shootings that school violence was now a fact of life. And now he said it's ok to create fake stories....
To get back to the original post which the Repub horribilis could not refute, our economy has grown and we are better than we were 4 years ago, by a lot.

I realize that you could be an idiot (I've never met you in real life), but I certainly hope you understand that the political party that holds the White House has little to do with the performance of the macroeconomy during the time they're in office. And, hopefully, you're smart enough to realize that using any year heavily influenced by COVID as a base year for comparison purposes will be misleading.
I'm far better off than I was four years ago, but it doesn't have jack shot to do with Biden and Harris. Literally, like ZERO to do with them.

I just brought this subject up with my wife today.
4 years ago was one of the worst of my life;
Covid ravaged my company. I layed off half my staff and was losing money hand over fist.
Sons were ok but going to school in their bedrooms and sports school sports were next to nothing
Wife was depressed with no purpose and slowly developing a drinking problem.
and the country was guided by a moron with a spray tan
now my company is growing and making money
wife is studying at St Mary's on a full ride scholarship
son is studying CS/Engineering at Santa Clara
other son is a record state setting powerlifter
and a black chick from Oakland is leading in the polls

Facts like the last 4 years having been the worst inflationary cycle in 40 years do matter, especially for the other half of America who don't own stocks. Some affluent urban college grads whose portfolio and home equity rose switched from R to D, however more working class people switched the opposite way, and that was the story in a nutshell.
