Cal had four '27 prospects at practice this AM, three of whom have offersKingston Celifie - Wide Receiver: While he's not yet earned the reputation of former Cal great Desean Jackson, Celifie is a very similar player. Perhaps a shade taller than DJax with the same wiry frame, Kingston is an electric athlete with tremendous quickness and top-end speed (he ran a 10.57 100M as a HS Freshman). He was good as a Junior with nearly 50 catches and 900 yards to go wtih nine touchdowns. Right now, Cal and UCLA are the leaders but todays visit went a ways to helping the Bears earn his pledge.Great day to be at Cal Berkeley! Practice was high energy, high intensity—coaches fully locked in. Jaydon Rawls - Wide Receiver: Rawls is a bit of an enigma both because of his length, he's 6'6 and because he hasn't played a lot of HS football. He caught a handful of passes as a Sophomore at his HS in Georgia before transferring to a school in Mississippi, where injuries cut short his Junior year. However, in three games, he was really good with 14 catches and 3 TDs. He's now living in Arizona, and Cal likes the rangy, fluid athlete a lot. Rawls very much enjoyed his visit today. Josh Bunni - Offensive Tackle: Speaking of having played very little HS football, Bunni has played zero snaps at any level in his life. He's originally from Australia and is a well-built 6'7 and 330lbs. He's worked out at several camps and earned a bunch of offers as a result, including one from Tosh Lupoi. Cal's in a good spot with him and again, he loved his time at practice today. Bayon Harris - Wide Receiver: EJ Morgan's teammate in Fresno at Central East, Harris was monstrously productive as a Junior. He's a well built 6'3 and bullied HS defenders with his strength. Cal has yet to offer, but is closely tracking Harris.
