2019 Center DJ Thorpe Out For His High School Season

Unfortunate news for 2019 Cal commit D. J. Thorpe‍, son of former NBA player Otis Thorpe: out for the season. D.J. tore ligaments on the outside of his left ankle last month but should be good to go by the 2019 season. The injury occurred early in the second quarter, in a Lake Travis blowout win trying to make a move to the basket.

Thorpe did, however, try to come back in that game and play but got shut down shortly thereafter.
