With an experienced group of defensive backs headed into the 2019 season, the transfer of former Penn State frosh safety Isaiah Humphries was just what the doctor ordered for the Bears.

“It’s been pretty smooth,” said Humphries of the transition. “It’s a different defense so it’s a little difficult learning the plays and stuff like that. But just getting in there and learning the plays, that’s the most important thing I’m working on right now.
