Edwards Talks Transition, Resurgent Running Back Corps

In many ways, Cal running backs coach Nick Edwards embodies the ethos the Cal football program has fostered for years, particularly in year three of the Justin Wilcox era.

After a successful high school career as a receiver from Tacoma, Washington, Edwards had to prove his worth as a walk-on at Eastern Washington University under then-head coach Beau Baldwin, who’s currently Cal’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
