Cal-Oregon Postgame Notes, Video and Final Stats

Dealing with the loss of starting QB Chase Garbers last week, the Bears were dealt more injury blows, particulary with center Mike Saffell falling to injury in the first half. The Bears’ three defensive turnovers and red zone stops kept them in the game but an inability to move the ball on offense ultimately did them in with their 17-7 loss in Eugene.

Game Notes:

  • With the 17-7 loss, Cal falls to 4-2 overall and 1-2 in the Pac-12. The Bears have a bye week next weekend before hosting Oregon State on Oct.
