The 122nd Big Game was an emotional oasis for a Cal program that has been in various forms wandering lost in the desert the last decade.  The better team won the game and did it away from home in dramatic, come from behind fashion.

On to the review:

  • This victory came from the maligned Cal offense.   While they struggled to run the ball with the tailbacks, pass protection was solid and Garbers and his receivers were consistently able to create chunk plays.
