Cal needed that win. And it needed it in the exact way it played out. For one, it’s the first time all season Cal hasn’t had a double-digit turnover county. Since the Prairie View A&M game, where Cal turned it over 22 times, turnovers — especially non-steal turnovers — have been a significant issue. The Bears were under control last night and recorded nine assists to just six turnovers — by far its best ratio of the year.
