To be sure, a college hoops season rarely comes down to just one or two games. Most teams will have at least one heinous loss and at least one win that was unexpected. But perhaps where you learn the most about a team is when it plays teams slightly better — or slightly worse. We’re at that stage for the 2019-2020 Cal Hoops season. 

So far, according to KenPom, Cal’s best win has come against Fresno State, ranked No. 123.
